Greetings,

We have arrived safely in Turkey..... our first flight on Turkish Airways was uneventful... and short. My favorite.



Our hotel is swanky.... it is new and shiny and comes with all the bells and whistles. Literally, it has a security metal detector, uniformed ARMED security guard, and numerous security guards around the grounds.


Our first night was relaxing as we took a leisurely stroll around the old town.

I think this is going to be a nice vacation....
