Glass bottom boat

Greetings,

Thought I wound share a few pictures from our Glass bottom boat adventure.

The day started with a trip to the Harbor and a boat ride with Captain Nick. The cruise took us to the islands of Thodorou and Lazaretta.

Please notice Danelle is smiling and seemingly having a good time.... its only for the pictures! She is extremely seasick and ready to blow at any time.

Thodorou, also known as Goat Island is home to the native wild Kri Kri goat. After perusing the hillside for Kri Kri goats and cruising over to the next island.... we stopped to see a decaying World War II German airplane. The wreckage of a Junkers JU 52 shot down during WWII was visible from the glass bottom boat.

Once docked at Lazaretta the Barker's minus Matt, Harry, and Danelle snorkeled off the boat in search of some Cretan marine life.... FYI there really is not any! Good thing Crete has the Aquarium for viewing marine life in their natural habitats.

Logan and I took the dingy to the beach to start working on our tan. Eventually our snorkelers made it there too... so we enjoyed ourselves with a little fun in the sun time.

Logan and Gavin found the rocks... and a little cavern thingy...

Here's Gavin with his snorkel gear....

And Harry with Tristan swimming back to the boat for a bathroom break? Aren't we in the ocean?...

Blessings to those who utilize the vastness of the ocean,

Kristie
