Charlie Brown Christmas tree

Holiday Greetings,

We here across the pond are trying to find the holiday spirit. It seems to be rather difficult this year. Maybe it's the distance, or perhaps just the lack of US commercialism during the season...which I love!

Harry, Oliver, and I have always had a live Christmas tree. There's just something about the smell and the stinging pricks from the needles....and the daily cleanup around the tree as it sheds. We bought an artificial tree this year. Yuck, it smells like cheap plastic. And it looks homely. Not as bad as the Charlie Brown tree, but I feel it's close.

So hopefully.....once all assembled and decorated the tree will fill our house with the joy of the season. Maybe? Not sure how to make it smell like Christmas just yet. And Harry and I have always had a heart for homely looking things.... Oliver and Miss Peabody to name two....and look how they turned out.

Blessings,

Kristie

I love the Charlie Brown Christmas tree! It wouldn't be Christmas without one of those somewhere. Hopefully when you get the top on the tree, it will lean over and look really authentic! =)

I'm loving the tree. Logan and I went last night to buy a tree, but he pooped all over me in the parking lot--we went back home. He was only wearing a diaper and tennis shoes. Anyways, after Kevin got home and Logan went to sleep, I went and got one--it's artificial too. Logan has found every ornament that I placed too low. Love ya guys, Danelle
