Today, it rained and snowed a little.
Then it rained some more...
This is one street over from our house...
The rains came down and washed our basement out.
I am from Florida... and not prone to understanding basements, but this does not look good.
Out came the sump pump and dried the basement out.

Buy a small generator before the summer. When there are really bad thunderstorms, the electric may go out and the sump pump (sp?) will not work. It isn't fun using buckets to get the water out of basements...unfortunately I know this from experience. Danelle
I don't even remember it raining last week... that's how hectic my life is right now. You can always come up to my house if it gets too crazy down your way.
